***Big 10 Thread***

Have no clue. We'll lose to Iowa and 4 other teams. I'm not some crazy guy that predicts undefeated seasons or anything

You think 8 wins but have no idea where they come from? Sounds like you are just throwing out a number.

Cant you go game by game?

What are the 8 wins in football?
I did some numbers crunching on the percentages that each team on the schedule (and ISU) brings back (passing, rushing, receiving, OL starts, tackles).

Pretty interesting stuff. I'll post later when I get more time. I'll also need to factor in transfers/players coming in/out somehow. Tough to do that though.

Tony Carr leaving early for the draft is a big blow to Penn State for next year. Seems to be one of the few draft guys are outspoken on it being a bad decision.

Looking ahead, the Big Ten is kind of tough to gauge imo:
Michigan could be Top 10 if Wagner returns but that seems unlikely now. Probably more Top 20-25 without Wagner.
Michigan State likely Top 15
Maryland up there and has a nice class coming in
Purdue takes a step back with who graduates but they made a nice grad transfer pickup already and C Edwards will be a preseason AA
Indiana improved? Certainly would be huge to land Romeo Langford
Wisconsin should be better with experience & health
Nebraska returns their core
Penn State now likely taking a step back
Rutgers. Blah.
Illinois is a mess.
Minnesota has talent. We'll see.
Ohio State loses a lot. They're rebuilding.
Northwestern gets Law and Pardon back right? Nice class coming in. Probably would serve them well to pick up a transfer or 2.
Iowa makes a net negative in roster moves on paper if Cook leaves. A year older though!

I suppose it just comes down to performing better and not having so many complete disappointments. No sure fire Top 10 teams like Mich St (although disappointed) and Purdue last year but could be better in the middle.

OK I'll do one quick

W - South Dakota State

How can you predict a win in a bowl game when you have no idea the opponent? LOL
