Thanks for the sentiment, but we ISU fans aren't that excited by it. I know 10th place is huge for the hawks and if the positions were switched, you guys would just be giddy over winning your championship (or basketball superbowl whatever you guys call it), but we just put more into our season than one game and claiming to do it the right way even if the team stinks. I guess our expectations are higher than hawks.
Does it suck knowing we had a better basketball and football team than you this year? Honest question because I know you guys thought you would be better at both
We had a slightly better football team (same record, won head to head at your place), you guys had a better basketball team. Iowa by far has the better wrestling team.
Yes on our "slightly" better football team, but I'd also add "slightly" to their better basketball team. They have a couple fewer losses but we have same number of wins and they're dead last in their conference. It's pretty close.
It's too bad there isn't an unbiased poll done by voters who could tell us who was the better team for football...
Too bad this couldn't be decided on the field. We would even be willing to play it at JT Stadium.
I know it's uncharted waters for you, but the AP poll goes to 25. Wouldn't want you to keep sounding silly.
