Gotta be really excited since the Hawks are a baseball school now.

That's a long time frameDefinitely a football school, 5 top 10 finishes in the past 16 seasons.

I just read somewhere that Fran has been ejected from more games at Iowa than he has NCAA wins (3 vs 2). So he has that going for him. Also, there are these nuggets from QC Times
--Here is an ugly stat in a season full of them: In nine true road games this season, the Hawkeyes have trailed by 17 or more points at some point in all but one of them. The only exception is their loss at Iowa State back in December. The good news is that there are only two more road games — at Michigan on Wednesday and at Minnesota the following Wednesday.
--Jordan Bohannon had a decent game for Iowa — 11 points, five assists — but he had one especially bad sequence with about a minute left in the first half. Ohio State’s C.J. Jackson picked Bohannon clean and took off with the ball up the right side. Jackson nearly lost the ball on his way up the court, allowing Bohannon to scramble back and get in front of him, but Jackson just blew past him again and took it to the hoop for a 3-point play. It allowed the Buckeyes to push their lead to double digits for the first time.
-Article on how all former Iowa players are still sub-par at their new (usually lower level) schools. http://qctimes.com/sports/columnist...cle_8a52682e-35a2-55de-a76d-446bb6b9bb27.html
That's a long time frame
Or we could say 1 in the past 8.Pretty much 1 Top 10 finish every 3ish years? That is a really good track record.
Then why are you cuting seats in your stadiums? Football schools add seats not subtract nearly a couple thousand.
Or we could say 1 in the past 8.
So 1 in every.......8 years?
But isn't that literally exactly what you did?Sure, if you want to cherry pick your time frame.
Not surprised you would take that route.
But isn't that literally exactly what you did?
Two home baseball games in the next month (first one isn't for a couple weeks) and you are throwing in the towel on supporting basketball? And the coach got an extension? Woof.Baseball season starts Friday.
So for future reference we can ignore CMC first ISU year, right?Nah, I used KF's tenure not including his first couple of years since he inherited such a mess from Hayden.
If you want to be a stickler, 5 Top 10 finishes in the 19 year KF era. Still a Top 10 finish every 4 years.
Cutting seats but adding revenue, seems like a really smart idea.
ISU added seats and then averaged 3500 less than capacity this past season.

No way that's true. I think the best you've finished this decade is in the 20's
They added seats and their average attendance went from 52,557 to 57,931.

"Inheriting such a mess" (from your football coaching idol none the less) screams big time program to me.Nah, I used KF's tenure not including his first couple of years since he inherited such a mess from Hayden.
