Yeah that whole Emmitt Williams situation is a **** show. Surprised more people didn't back off of him than did. Sure he's a heck of a talent, but a terrible thing to be looming over him

He didn't make MSU a top 10 program.....

Saban could come in and make Iowa a top ten program NOW with the cache he currently has but it's a moot point. Iowa isn't going to get a post Alabama Saban....not too many of those out there :)

Historically better? Each team has a final four but you have to go back 40 years for the most recent one. Iowa State has had an equal to better basketball program going back to the mid 80's. Hasn't been that close since the late 90's.

Maybe.....he's a great coach and recruiter no doubt. You'd have to agree it's easier to be top 10 at an Alabama with the perdigree/$$$/recruiting foot print than an MSU or Iowa or ISU correct?

I'd say top 25. He took advantage of a down Michigan. Still not a better program than Michigan despite their recent success.

Obviously. I'm just still in shock that no coach could ever make Iowa into a top 10 program
