***Big 10 Thread***

TV commentator would agree. One of them claimed that Garza will be the best player to pass through Iowa Hoks in over the last few decades. Not that there is a huge hill to climb there but ti will be something to see his number hanging next to BJ and Bobby's.

Think there will be an uprising to pull down Bobby’s number since it’s been said that he was the one who pushed to hire Mad Fran?

I still think it’s odd that Marble’s number was never retired. Yes I know he had problems with drugs his Senior year and while in the NBA but I thought that shouldn’t take away from his career at Iowa.

With today’s decisions: should the NCAA just ban the big ten from anything for awhile. Penn state with Sandusky, now nasser at MSU? A fairly disgusting start of a trend in that conference. Death penalty for the big ten!!

Let's just start an "exiled" conference. So far we can exile Penn State, Baylor, MSU, and Louisville. As more FBI details come out, I expect a very viable conference by next year.
I can abide by that. Speaking of PSU....this MSU thing is every bit as bad if not more so...be interesting to see if comparable punishment is handed out.

Will be interesting for sure.

What you do as a fan if something similar to PSU happened at the school you cheer for? The PSU fans are sickening in how they still support everything Joe Paterno.

I watch a lot of William Penn (NAIA D1) basketball since I'm in Oskaloosa and it's my Alma Mater.

I'm 95% sure William Penn has better athletes at almost every position than Iowa.

That shouldn't happen to a D1 team.

Baylor takes the rape and molesting of Penn State and Michigan State and adds MURDER to the mix.

Sad that all 3 get a slap on the wrist and move on without a blip. Baylor's basketball program entered its golden age almost immediately after covering up a murder.

Honestly, this is where I've been most impressed with MSU fans through all this. I don't see any of the PSU or Baylor staunch supporters arguing that their university did nothing wrong and rape is ok and such. Everyone on my social media is disgusted and disappointed in their university and wants change.

Could be that has more to do with it not being related to their football team. If it was something involving the Dantonio and football I bet there would be people out there trying to protect him.

That's possible. I'm hoping that's not the case, but it's certainly possible.

There's some Baylor fans like that with Briles too. Not as many as PSU but it's still pretty bad
