Coffey out. Their other best player booted. Minny was the co- overrated big10 team du season to begin with the hoks. They tried really hard to pump up that crap conference with these two teams. It’s really working.
Well, then there is no excuse for them being that bad, especially in that conference this year.

So I decided to check in to Minnesota news to see how the team is doing. I guess they had to play at MSG a weekend ago as a b-ball/hockey double header and Pitino wasn’t happy at all.

We could be playing Ohio State in front of 13,000, 14,000 people on Saturday [at Williams Arena]. And instead we got to go to New York City. I love New York City. I love Madison Square Garden, but I just don't get it."
"They didn't ask me," he said. "I'm 35. I'm the low man in that room. I understand that, and I appreciate that. So I normally keep my mouth shut on those things, but it's not fair. It's just not."
Sounds like a ringing endorsement for the B1G still trying to tap into NYC.

Minnesota can't be worse than Wisconsin can they? Wisconsin is the worst team I've seen in a long time. No athletic ability. No speed. Not even defense.
Minnesota will be desperate for a win as they still have a decent chance at the NIT.
They had possibly the 3 most talented college basketball players of all time...and didn't really win jack with any of them.
I'm not sure they're THAT bad, but they've lost 6 of 7, with the one win coming in OT, and the win before that against an atrocious Illinois team.
