Better Call Saul

There was deep snow in Omaha despite that Texas/NU game being played October 16?
They seem to ignore the seasonal weather sometimes. Walt would have left the cabin in New Hampshire in early September, but there was fresh snow on the car and roads. I'm not familiar with the mountains of NH, but I'd guess that's not realistic.

That was as pointless as the fly episode. While I enjoyed it, there are only 3 episodes left and that seemed completely random.
I have to think the Carol Burnett character is going to have some additional role that's yet to come. And the episode shows us that even after everything, Jimmy can't change - he's still Slippin' Jimmy - and he's going to slip up in some way that finally brings his downfall. Paging Walter White...

I loved it. It’s all about Saul and who he is. He’s still scamming, looking for the angles. Even if it’s a small time deal. True to his character.

He did a scam but wasn't this really about self preservation? He did this so he had some dirt on the guy so he doesn't get turned in. He may ultimately slip up but he's not actively looking for trouble.

Think that last episode could have been shorter for sure. For me the biggest thing was when he put the ring back on. Saul Goodman is now let go and he is Slippin Jimmy again. That camera spent way too long on him sliding that ring back on to not be a big deal.

Being as that was clearly set in 2010, I was damn glad they didn’t mention the ISU game
"What did you think of Iowa State's coach opting for the fake PAT pass to go for the win last week? I about **** my pants but at least he threw the ball at the ground!"

For the record, I still thought it was an excellent play call. Poor throw by the holder.

That play if completed would have been the biggest story in college football that week. Great call that really should have worked.

I was also surpriised they'd do a burner episode so close to the end. Seems like the type of episode you use to stretch out the middle of a season. Or save budget for the next one with a lot of SFX.

All I know is that Cinnabon got a ton of free advertising, watching that fat cop gobble up the cinnamon rolls.
I'm sure they've been paying for it, just like in a movie when every can/bottle is the same brand with the logo in direct sight of the camera.

And how dare you speak of Gary/Larry/Jerry like that

Taylor Martinez was the QB in 2010, the season they were talking about. Walt died in September 2010, so the Gene stuff is right after breaking bad.
Wasn’t it dead of winter with snow when Walt left New Hampshire? He then died a short time later.

I'm guessing she no longer works there and whomever he was taking to wouldn't give him any info on where she went. He was clearly keeping tabs on her while in Albuquerque, since he knew where to call, but now he has no idea where she is.
Palm Coast Sprinklers in Titusville.
