Better Call Saul

Listened to an interview with Odenkirk and Gould on NPR today. The interviewer asked about a spinoff for Kim. Gould didn't shoot it down so there's hope.

I LOVED this episode tonight.

Although, nobody in Nebraska was talking about a Big 10 move until like 2 days before it was announced. :D

There's a flaw in the writing.

While the security guard is talking about how Adrian Martinez played, he's also talking about Bo Pellini's coaching, and rumors about Nebraska joining the Big 10. Martinez did not play under Pellini, and Nebraska was already in the Big 10 when Martinez arrived.

Taylor Martinez was the QB in 2010, the season they were talking about. Walt died in September 2010, so the Gene stuff is right after breaking bad.

You beat me to it. Taylor Martinez was the qb in Lincoln the day we beat them in 09.

Can’t wait to see the rest of this show

From the tea stat the end of the episode it sounds like Gene/Jimmy might be talking to Kim. Only three episodes left.

Nebraska has had multiple bad quarterbacks with the last name Martinez.

Walt died in October 2008 so 'Gene' has been in Omaha for about two years, yet he's still living in terror of being discovered and obviously still thinking about Kim after the teaser at the end of this week's episode.

I feel like we haven't seen the last of Marian either and Carol Burnett is freaking awesome.

Wow, my mistake! When they said Martinez, I automatically assumed they were referring to Adrian. Forgot there was a Taylor. Nice catch!

When they made a Texas reference in the Cinnabon montage I got my hopes up we might get an ISU one.

There was deep snow in Omaha despite that Texas/NU game being played October 16?

As much as they detailed all of the "winter" scnenes, I couldn't help but notice all the tress with ALL of their leafs in all the shots. :D
