Better Call Saul

I figured Jimmy is going to need a lot of money to get Chuck the treatment he needs, just like Walt needed money. Not being a particularly good lawyer dealing with small time stuff, he decides to become a criminal lawyer. You know, a CRIMINAL lawyer. It's probably one of the main links to BrBa, and is the reason Jimmy/Saul is willing to go the extra mile to help Walt whne we meet him later in BrBa. Because he reminds him of his brother, who some horrible thing will happen to.

Haven't been able to watch any episodes since the 3rd one. Think this goes on Netflix once the season is over?

Well, you've already seen him do Skylar White's "car wash money laundering scheme", so you know he's already not exactly the picture of innocence...

Mike might be my favorite character from the show, and that last scene where he is telling his stepdaughter what happened was rough.

Really cool to get the complete back story on Mike. They gave a summary of why he moved to NM in BB but now we know the details.

best episode of the series so far.

it's amazing how these writers can take two completely different topics (slippin' jimmy and the skateboarders) and tie it together with a cop getting killed in philly.

I agree..best episode was last night...I still wonder though how this show will take a life on its own without the need to always call on BB...maybe that is the whole premise of the show as well. always going to the well of BB. Now I wonder how Mike got involved with Gus Fring..wonder if they will show that at all. It seemed like Saul and Mike did not know one another until Jesse and Walt got in the mix....Overall, I am liking it. Anyone know how many episodes are here in season 1? Wonder if it will go through June....I think the next tv sweeps are in May?

I'm a little confused as to what you mean by going to the BB well? Its a spinoff that includes characters from BB? I would say its going to draw pretty heavily from that well.

No, in BB Saul "knows a guy who knows a guy." I assume he knew Mike who knew Gus.

Finally saw last week's episode. Jonathan Banks had better win an Emmy or I'll call Saul! Best acting and writing on TV since the final episode of BB.

Last night, the embezzlers got their comeuppance. Talk about plot from episode-to-episode...it was genius.

Only three left this season. Damn.

I've enjoyed the show so far. I didn't realized this season wasn't 13 episodes.

It will be interesting to see Saul regress throughout the show from his current "standards."

This show is reminding me a lot of Breaking Bad. I really feel for Jimmy even though I know how he is going to turn out.
