That, along with him preparing to bash the drunk cancer victims head (with his dogs ashes no less) said a lot about Jimmys state of mind. Jimmy is not a violent man, neither was Saul. I think his call with Kim and his years at Cinnabon sent him off the deep end.
What vehicle is it that they show during that promo is Jimmy's I think, but I notice it's totally beat up and has no license plate. Isn't that the vehicle that ended up getting discarded when he was getting that money for Lalo?
I don't see how one episode could encapsulate a trial so I don't see Saul going to jail. He either escapes, dies or the ending is open ended (no real resolution)
Who's left to exact revenge against Saul? Howard's wife? The Salamancas?
Producers of BB & BCS have been pretty good about tying up loose ends so I don't foresee an open ending.
Kim has been making amends for her role in Howard's death. The one person she hasn't made it right with is Jimmy. Remember she coaxed Jimmy into the plan to defame Howard. Later, Jimmy wanted to bail on the Howard scheme but Kim kept pushing. I think Kim is plotting an escape with Jimmy. I'm not sure how at this point though.

Few more random notes from little sleep and overthinking about this show:
- I think Gene sees some sort of opportunity where he can again narrowly escape being caught but finally decides to give up the fight and let them catch him. This eliminates the need for a trial the episode doesn't have time for. Bob Odinkirk mentioned in Talking Saul that he's basically trying to bring himself down at this point. Then at the end, we see Jimmy McGill in prison pulling pranks/swindling other prison-mates....however in more of a lighthearted manner. As awful as a person as he is, his charm makes it so we don't want to see him get caught, however it would be a lazy ending if he just escaped everything else well.
- I think Kim somehow is involved in the final episode but might just be another flashback we haven't seen.
- I love Talking Saul but also didn't like seeing the characters out of their character if that makes sense. I don't want to think of Tony Dalton as a nice guy ect.
- I had no idea the "Lalo" question from Jesse was originally asked in BB. I had missed that and thought it was newly added into the Breaking Bad episode last week. What an amazing pull.
Who is left to exact revenge is a great question. The Salamancas are gone, Howards wife at least knows what is going on even if Saul does not get caught so that's not a secret any longer. What else is still open?
Kim will probably be involved in the final episode. I think Walt is involved because in some interview he gave he said he and Jesse had a scene together and then they each had a scene without the other....so that leaves some scene with him and Saul still to come. During his phone call with his old secretary in the last couple episodes it was also brought up that the old prosecutor that Saul knew is now a defense attorney so it seems like he could somehow be involved. I just don't have a good theory about what exactly happens.
An entire career up in smoke because she will forever be known for taking down Jimmy
Kim breaking down on the bus is a hint to me that she didn’t leave ABQ. She won’t actually get on the plane back to Florida. She’ll reunite with Jimmy one last time.
Part of me hopes that Kim and Jimmy use the vacuum repair man one last time to escape… and the final scene of the Breaking Bad universe is those two, happy, with new identities, somewhere in Alaska, where they run into Jesse Pinkman, and then they all continue on their separate ways. But part of me knows this can’t have a happy ending.
If you go back to the start of the scene with Kim at the airport after arriving in ABQ, it seemed to linger on the Alaska sign. Maybe that was just foreshadowing the later scene between her and Jesse, but maybe there’s more.

If you need to disappear, you call Best Quality Vacuum. You ask for a new dust filter for your Hoover Max Extract Pressure Pro Model 60. He picks you up at a time and place, if you're late he's gone. You have to pay him $125,000, not a dollar less. He takes you to the vacuum store and stashes you underground for a few days while he sets up a new identity for you. He then takes you to your requested place in an empty propane tanker truck. He'll check in on you periodically.
Some people have been theorizing that the vacuum guy will show up again based on how Kim took note of his business card in the vet's black book and the teaser for the finale where Jimmy mutters the vacuum line a couple times. I remember the producers saying they filmed everything they needed to before Robert Forster died, so they could be sitting on a scene with him, knowing how they want the show to end.

I really wish we had found out more about the vet and that black book.
I guess I assumed the black book is how this process became known in BB.
The vet mentioned he was getting out of the criminal business in that scene. I'm assuming Saul bought that black book and that's how he became "the guy who knows a guy."
Absolutely. But I guess I thought that point had already played out and there's no reason to expect the vacuum sales plays into the finale just because of that vet scene.
The episode preview is the reason to expect vacuum sales play a role.
It’s Jimmy’s Hyundai Esteem. Even has one red door. I recall Mike taking the plates off of it.
That's what I thought, but I'm not sure why they are showing that vehicle that was discarded long ago during that promo. Obviously there is a reason but I just can't think of anything.
My guess is there are going to be some flashbacks. It's an hour and 40 minute episode so 1:10-1:15 without the commercials, they can fit a lot in. There will be a Walt scene too.
