I've tried it and it isn't as bad as it initially sounds. I'm not that big of an apple fan to begin with - I'll eat it if that is all there is and enjoy it, but I won't choose it over a good pumpkin.
I can’t decide if this is freakin genius or something epitomizing fat Iowa.

I think it might be genius.

I make 1,2,3,4,6 & 7 (2 each of 1 & 2) every year. Everybody goes home with some. :D

My favorite is the pecan, made with my great-grandmother's recipe from 1870s Texas.

Voted cheesecake but in reality it’s pumpkin cheesecake. That **** is awesome.

I like the hot, dry, sandy places.

Not as big of a fan of the sugary stuff you eat after supper.
One of the great things about being an adult is you can eat dessert anytime you want. A slice of pie with your coffee the day after thanksgiving is the best.

We’re having…..apple crisp and chocolate pie, supplied by others and my wife has made a “better than sex” cake. I plan to make the comparison later thanksgiving night.

Why is Apple pie so much better when the apples are sliced thin and layered rather then chunks? Assuming saturation?
