Best Sitcom Bracket on Twitter

We should try to seed "Malcolm in the Middle" and "The Middle" and so they play in first round.
***
For retro possibilities, I nominate "Green Acres" as possible bubble consideration.
***
If we had an NIT field, "Titus," "Get a Life" and "Grounded For Life" should be in it. Those probably wouldn't have enough collective support to get into the 68-team field.

I like the nit idea. That's where a good chunk of that twitter brackets choices probably belong.

I think animated shows belong in their own bracket. After that, give me It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia for the upset winner. I love that show so much.

The more I think on this post maybe we should save the 3 nominated animated ones for future animated bracket, but I think we should let majority decision rule.

I'd agree with animated being their own bracket.

Not sure where the current list stands but Home Improvement should probably be on there if it isn't already. I never watched it, but it was a pretty big deal.

On our list. It was one of my favorites. Tim Allen later did last man standing where it home Improvement but instead of 3 sons he had 3 daughters.

Last Man Standing could go on the list but it's probably nit bound.

Using this and others suggestion we are 3 from being at 68. I'll still list suggestions after we are full because we need to have a last four out and next four out so we should come up with at least 76 shows for consideration.
I think it might be time to form the seeding committee.

Have you came across the episode where Frasier and Niles run a restuarant? Slapstick gold if I remember correctly.
Saw that last night. Hilarious. Frasier does a pretty good job of introducing perfect character fits. Like the old waiter in this episode, turned parking attendant. He was gut wrenching.

How about those Sherwood Schwartz classics like The Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island?

Seems to me, we should do brackets by each decade. Then pit the winners of each bracket to get the overall winner.

The seeding is a joke. Arrested and 30 Rock 10 seeds?! Parks and Rec an 8?! I love me some Wings but there is no way it should be a 6.

News Radio is amazing but a 4?! No

Finally the fact that VEEP isn’t even on this list makes this entire exercise kinda pointless. That’s not on here but Saved by the Bell is? Come the **** on.

Glad to see Modern Family was given it's due as a #1 seed. I think it's easily the best sitcom in history.

There's a reason why they didn't pipe in the ******** ******** laughter to queue lame jokes and humor. It wasn't necessary.

What about 227? Also I apparently just have no idea what a sitcom is.
