Best Convenience Store

For a couple of days, I found myself depressed and listless, roaming aimlessly with no hope of survival...turns out I was just driving through western Texas. Got better once I left Amarillo....
My vote is for Kwik Star and second would be QT. Both stores pay their employees well and generally have plenty of staff to get people in and out quickly. Gas prices are competitive in Ankeny. Casey's gets a hard knock from because their image is stale (unless you happen to walk into a new store) and so many of their stores are in major need to remodel. Reimage that logo while they're at it. It's not the 80's anymore.
This isn't on topic at all but Mcdonald's has far and away the best Sprite and Coke you can get. It's hangover magic.

I think it's good. They also have a decent electronic foofy coffee machine.
Lots of free add ins for all coffee stuff.
One thing about Casey's that I don't like are the sauce packs (ranch, buffalo, barbq). How do you open those? The film will not come off. It's kind of annoying.
If it's the same as Kwik Trip I get their general stuff but I like how they offer quite a few flavors of coffee in general.
Casey's tops Kwik Star in my books. Kwik Star has a ton of food options but lower quality than Casey's. Kwik Star pizza tastes like frozen pizza made 2 hours ago. Cannot beat Casey's pepperoni or breakfast pizza.

My wife and son got a rotisserie chicken and said it was great too. She said it was like 6.99 and tastes the same as fareway or hyfive.
I haven’t gotten that yet, I always go for the breasted. It’s seriously really good.
