Why would you exclude his stats from today against Iowa State?

I also noted his composure. I do think that it is hard to retain your composure when you are constantly being pressured or knocked on your ***. Sam did as well as can be expected.
A lot of pretty good QB's don't like pressure. Remember the old "41" defense of the bears. Not many QB's were able to get comfortable. Long range view, we need to develop good a good line. That would make our running game and passing game much better. IMO, good lineman can be made after recruiting.

Sam has some skills, but his demeanor is just awful for a 5th year Division 1 QB that has started for three years.

The kid did nothing but lead his team. Made big play after big play. Big run after big run. Big completion after big completion.

Beathard has that classic QB thing going. I was really impressed by him yesterday.
