Beat Baylor

Honest to god multiple onside kicks against Baylor is not a bad idea. It isn't like a long field hurts them at all.
Conventional offensive game plan on our part will not work. Sneak attack, onside kick after a score or to open the game, fake punt, quick kick on 3rd down, line Qb up two or three yards deeper and kick when their safeties are up close to the line, use motion to disguise your intentions. Slow the offense down, run up to the line quickly so they can't sub, change formations with shifts two or three times, snap ball under 5 seconds, use Hb passes, throw back to Qb passes, keep them frustrated. They will become impatient and may throw some picks. Play a 4 deep 4 linebackers, 3 man rush, corners play 20 yards deep , safeties play inverted 10 yards off, vary form man-man to zone. Go crazy, gamble, have some fun and win.
Go Cyclones!!

It would be interesting to see a statistical analysis done on whether it matters much what yardline Baylor starts their drives from?

In other words, do they score just as often starting from their own 20 yd line versus starting at midfield? If so, then yeah, you might as well do a lot of onside kicks and see what happens.

Cyhart, did you forget about that plane crash prior to our game against Okie Lite that saw a bunch of their athletic folks killed. Do you think that might have played a role in the game that evening? Glad we won but man I wonder about some of you and dismissing such a tragic event at their school and acting like it had no bearing on the game!

Lol, really? Really must have been effecting them when they were up 24-7.... GTFO.

No, it didn't.

I'm sure the 28 year old man who joined college for 1 year to prep for the NFL draft was really close with the women's basketball coaching staff...

Hey sometimes you can kick and recover an onside kick but have it not count! Especially against Baylor

I hope this happens just to see the reaction. Rhoads calling for Richardson to punt the ball on 3rd down. It would be a classic CyFan meltdown.

P.S. This is a terrible idea
