I'd like to see what they count as a bye week, and who the opponents were.
That doesn’t explain why Baylor is considered having turned it around after one win at Cincy after getting crushed by Tech the last game.
Looking into Baylor this evening trying to get a feel for what I think will be a 4 quarter nail biter in Waco on Saturday. In general I feel like we have learned that the B12 is incredibly unpredictable this season. Therefore I think this game will have a good amount of variance involved, and I hope our young squad can pull out a W coming off the bye.
Analytically, Baylor is not impressive really anywhere, they have been really poor on defense (especially against the run) and their offense leaves a little to be desired. However, they have a decent amount of skill position talent and some respectable coaches.

This is really gonna be a game for Nate S to show us what he's got, I think he done a great job thus far but I'm really excited to see what he has drawn up coming out of the bye. As stated, Baylor's rush defense is horrendous, we should be able to get at least SOME yardage with Sanders/Norton and Sama back healthy. I also expect to see some more of C. Hansen, he's a dude. Also interested to see who, if anyone, pops up or at least gets on the field at the WR spot... Bitter and Stanley have been non-factors and I'm hoping a guy like Gaines or Ngoyi has pushed hard over the bye week for some time in their place. Wondering if Remsburg gets some legit snaps now as well? I doubt it, but we will see.

In my opinion, the jury is still out on if Shapen is a quality QB or not, I think they do look to try and move the ball through the air, giving our secondary some more opportunities to make plays. Tampa, Cooper, Freyler, and Verdon have all been really really good this year. Like really good, but I think Aranda/Grimes knows that and I anticipate them trying to test Purchase and Williams (when he is out there in nickel packages). I think those two guys are the key, we need them to step up and have big games. IF they do I think we have a really good chance at a W.
Now, with all of that being said, I would be very surprised if we win. This is still a super young team and I tend to think Baylor is better than what they've showed this year. If they do get it done, this could be an awesome last half of the season.

This Baylor game is on espn+ !! For a change!! I know it is 'sort of' the Big 12 network, but this is only the 2nd FB game so far on espn+.
I decided to renew espn+ this fall, thinking I might get some ISU FB live, but unsure on how many games. I'll get to see this game live, not delayed! I decided NOT to renew my YouTube this fall, so far.

Could be worse, for the content you get through ESPN+, if you are a B1G fan to get the same content you get in the B12, you need The high tear of the BTN+ which is expensive, you need a Peacock paid sub, You need cable or similar, and it appears at some point you may need a Paramount+ paid sub.This Baylor game is on espn+ !! All the Big 12 needs is a type of cable or similar, and ESPN+ to get all televised B12 content, except for some wrestling, which is dumb it isnt on ESPN+. And if you have the hulu bundle its included, and it has been said in the future you will be able to sub for ESPN+ and it will include the main channels too, but not yet anyway.
Complicated isn't it? They will get your money one way or another, haha.
