***Baylor @ Iowa State Game Thread***

Could be the frosh posts came of age today; not playing like freshmen anymore, as each of them made big contributions. This trio is talented, hustles, and is strong with the ball. Also want to point out how well Whit played too; she hit three big treys for us.
Finally, we kept the pressure on most of the game--that showed some maturity and mental toughness.

So why does it take McD four years top get team chemistry and BF one year? Is it their approach to their team?

I really really hope he wouldn't have to go to Huxley to talk to her today unless Ballard is playing today. This would be a great game for recruits to attend in person. :)

A recruit out of Arkansas was visiting today. I think she may have made her decision.

PG will be the critical spot next year obviously. Hopefully we can have someone step in Lacey's shoes.

If so, with the youth we have in the post, we are setup for some continued great years.

Did last year's senior class ever beat Baylor? They never beat OU. Now Lacey has both of those.

I've been contemplating this lately, and I think last years team was still better, the big 12 is just weaker. Yes we have a lot of ranked teams, but last year I think we had 3 or 4 teams in the top 10 for a long time and this year, only Nebraska deserves to be there. I personally think we will probably finish with the same conference record as last year.

Aus is only 5 assists away from becoming the 1st ISU player with 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists. Her jersey will be hanging from the rafters of Hilton some day.

My wife, oldest daughter (age 9) and I went to the game today (thanks to Ms3r4ISU for the tickets). WOW! I commented to my wife that if I wasn't a HS girls basketball coach, I would strongly consider purchasing season tickets. That was HIGH QUALITY basketball and coaching. I loved BF's intensity even when we were up 20+ points in the 2nd half - WOW!!! My daughter (who is already a big ISU fan) came home and immediately printed off pictures of Poppens and Williams and stuck them on the wall of her room. "I want to earn a basketball scholarship to ISU and play for them," is what she kept saying. Don't know that she will be that good (especially if she inherits my lack of athleticism), but that quote nearly brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Twister Sisters and BF for an awesome Saturday performance!!!!!

Ya never know. That's sounds like Anna Florzak after her dad took her to Big 12 tournament in KC when Stacy Frese and company were playing.
