Baylor #1 in the AP Poll for the first time ever...

At least for a week. @WVU and @KState this week...it will be tough to stay there, but quite an achievment for Drew and Baylor considering what BU has been historically and what they were when Scott came to Waco.

Good lord, KSU ranked #25 in the country? This poll must be filled out by people that just look at records and not quality of schedule.

So OU and KU held the #1 spot last year, and BU this year. WVU has a chance to climb up there, but very unlikely, but that would mean the Big XII had 30% or 40% of the league holding that position recently. Oh how close we came.

That was my hope for last year when we started high that we would get a chance to be ranked number 1. Even if just for a week.

Congrats on the ranking! I think with the tough B12, you'll probably settle in in the 5-15 range, but enjoy it while it lasts.

#1 and #2 out of the Big 12. And #10. That should help our RPI rise nicely.

I would think ISU really needs a win or two vs. the 'top 3' to solidify things, and last week proved that it's possible. I'm not sure if I believed that 3 weeks ago.

Problem is that there aren't any teams that are the type a good team can just TCOB against, and ISU doesn't seem good enough to do that as it is, so reliability is tricky.
