Batman 3?'s (Dark Knight Spoiler inside)

If I remember right Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale signed on originally for 3 batman movies. Does anyone know what villans they are planning on using in the third one? Obviously since Heath Ledgers untimely death it will be alittle harder to know what they are planning. anybody know anything about the next one, I am just curious. By the way I saw The Dark Knight last night and it was amazing. I am also wanting to make sure that they did sign on for 3 originally like superman did.

Yes, I believe that all of the core group (Nolan, Bale, Caine, Oldman) signed on for three. I had read awhile back that the Riddler may be in the 3rd, but no screenplay exists yet, so I don't think anyone really knows. For awhile, the Penguin was rumored to have a bit part in the Dark Knight, but obviously that didn't materialize.

Personally, I think they should go in a direction we haven't seen in the cinema yet, like Killer Croc or Clayface. I doubt they'll do anything cornball, like featuring Catwoman or Robin. Nolan doesn't want to put Robin in these films, and most audiences probably still associate Catwoman with Halle Berry's trainwreck of a "film".
 
Im glad they arent doing the same order as the orignal batmans. I will be really happy as long as they keep mr. freeze out

Hush
Bane (Knightfall storyline)
 
I think they'll do something with the scarecrow selling drugs and possibly turning someone into Bane or The Mad Hatter. Scareface could work too. It has to be realistic and demented.

Well, they've been there, done that (and already killed him off) in TDK. Personally, I'd like to see the Riddler too. I can do without Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy for sure. After the original series, they became just too cartoony for me. I think the Penguin would be cool to see as well, but my ultimate hope is to see the Riddle. I would like to see a much more evil version of him.

Did they kill him off? They killed Havery Dent the hero of Gotham City, but Harvey Two Face may still be alive...
 
I know this may be a bit naive, but if you are going to post spoilers, it should be in a movie thread, not in a speculation thread about the 3rd movie. I wouldn't have looked. I haven't seen it yet. Not trying to go nuts or anything here, but there should be a heads up.

I mean two face is alive.....and so is Heath Ledger....
 
Well in Dark Knight, Luscious Fox mentioned that his new suit may not be dog proof, but may be Cat proof. Could have been a joke, could have been a quick slip that Catwoman may be in the next one.
