While I'm one of the biggest offenders, I agree, seat saving shouldn't be allowed anywhere in CA. Puts the people that just sit on their hands the entire game right on the floor even if they show up at tipoff.
That's not totally true. I could take those seats most games. :wink:
Regardless of all this, CA is going to suck up until the day CAC stands up to the alumni association and says it's going to get done at least somewhat our way, or it isn't going to get done at all.
It would do my heart good to have to worry about some kid killing them self running to a seat at Hilton, like you do at Jack Trice.
The 97 year old ushers get ****** off when you go sprinting by. Gotta watch out too, that floor gets a bit slick if you aren't careful, throw in vendors and other people walking around on the concourse and you have to be Barry Sanders to navigate it at full speed.
The resume padding excuse is a bunch of ********. ya sure, there may be some that have been on CAC that hope it will help their resume, but really? In an interview...Yes, I was at a basketball game an hour and a half early, ordered shirts, ordered props, etc....give me a ******* break and everyone quit saying people are using it for a resume builder.
I know people on CAC that have wanted to be on there since its existence in 03' WAY before they even knew what a ******* resume was....

AJCLONE, I respect your opinion, but the fact that you have to interview period to be on CAC is an absolute joke. Apparently "huge Cyclone fan" isn't included in this interview process, because 3 of arguably the most vocal Cyclone fans over the past 4 years have been turned down. Meanwhile, there are a bunch of silent CAC members. THAT I have a HUGE problem with.
It's about holding a leadership position which is a huge buzzword when it comes to resumes and interviews.
Completely agree with you on the silent ones... That angers me as well, I didn't really notice it much because I was too busy yelling myself, but there was 1 girl that I dont think I ever saw yell...
