Basketball Rankings

The USA/ESPN preseason NCAA basketball rankings project Creighton as the 23rd best team in the nation. They appear to be ranked higher than any other team from a mid-major conference. (Kansas is ranked 3rd, Texas A&M 13th, and Texas is ranked 19th).

Dude...we struggled with EA Sports too. That game easily could have gone into OT, or worse - been a loss.

i know but what i am sayin if creiton is that high we could be 22nd because we beat them in reg, and i said "also" struggled.. it was a lil bit of sarcasm in it.. its just kinda hard to read in posts

We're far from being a Top 25 team right now.

Keep in mind, we got EA Sports on Game 3 of a 3 game-in-a-row road trip. That takes a toll, look no further than comparing their 1st half shooting to the 2nd half shooting.

The bottom line is that the team competed with EA sports who is a reasonable team. For a team that some where predicting to be in the cellar of the big 12 this is a significat accomplishment. I have adjusted my personal goals for the team to make the NIT. I feel this is a realistic goal after watching the EA sports game.
