Basketball new juco commit?

Thanks for posting. Some nice clips of him. One thing is for sure, he's a great athlete. Not having played much basketball in his life though, his skills might not be the greatest.
It looks to me as though he's played basketball his whole life. It may not have been organized.

Not to turn this into football, but Pratt may have had one of the best tackles in ISU history vs Cincy in the NCAA tourney . That guy battled vs players much bigger all the time and more than held his own.

Is this guy confirmed as the commit? I Would laugh if all this analysis was done only for it to be someone else

If nothing else, this guy seems effective at getting into the heart of the defense and scoring. Considering getting to the free throw line has been one of our biggest weaknesses the past few years, I hope Wigginton, McNeil, and DCJ can change that.

Yeah, we very well could have a really different play style this year. There's no rule that says we have to line up four outside shooters every year to win.

This team is looking more like we'll stress the defense by driving the lane rather than spreading them out around the arc. Sometimes average three point shooters can look better when the defense has to protect the paint.

The kid has a good motor? Damn this boy has some serious springs to go with it. Jam'n and slam'n for a guy that size. That being said do we need another guard?

In other words back to small ball.

He is an odd mismatch. His vertical and drive may be difficult to guard. That said, working on a jump shot and three would help.

If the answer is no, we wouldn't be recruiting Brown either. It seems the staff wanted an experienced wing. This guy fits the wing need. That doesn't necessarily mean small ball either.

If it's yes then attracting some of the best guards in America a great thing........until you get to a team like Perdue in the tourney.
