Gotta lock in Fran, Gary. I heard he's got wondering eyes.
Tough day for Iowa fans. This basically locks in lil Ferentz and his stupid haircut as the next head coach. The real winner here is Fran, he just bought himself several more years of coaching a bunch of super neat best of friends.
I would do that job just as badly for half that.
Fran essentially has a lifetime contract at this point.
At least they’re paying him less than the civil penalties he’s incurred
This is actually long enough that Fran's kids could become the next head coach(s). Wouldn't that be a shot in the nads to hok fans...

I am sure the administration believes he is somehow responsible for the Athletic Dept being profitable instead of the B1G TV contract to overlook the mediocrity of the programs, his pas tPR mishaps and law suits.

It probably isn't a good sign for your future when your competitive fan bases are celebrating his extension as much or more than yours.
