I am glad we missed on this one. I mean really do we want a 4 year player that has to chose between Iowa State and Hawaii. That right there tells me he is not that great.
I just wish we would start going after big 12 players and getting them.

I know we were on the fence whether to take him or not...Personally, I liked him, but it's not my decision to make. I think, sending him to Hawaii was done to buy a week of time to think it over and weigh other options.

We are not worried as we have lots of players to pick from. We will recruit Lucca II and Jiri II and Greek 1 and all will be set for the fall.

How much spring do you think we have left? We have wiffed on all but one recruit in this signing period, and if the rumors about Dendy are true, we have 6 scholarship players on roster. You're absolutely convinced there's nothing to be negative about? :confused:

KG or CIMD,
Is the staff looking at either Kevin Noreen or Brady Heslip, both asked out of LOIs at BC? Are they looking at other players who have asked out of LOIs? Trying to find under the radar guys?

I dropped them an email to make sure...I think TJ was already on it.

KG, quick question for you....are the "other options" the staff is weighing at this point just not recruiting anymore guys so that they don't have to decide whether or not to transfer next year after the staff is given the old mud boot out the door? Just wondering.

There are on a bunch of guys...Some overseas and some in the US. I think Mac and TJ were in Texas yesterday.

Recruit(s) in Ames today.

NO!! I just don't know that we 'wiffed', as we told him to take his trip (slow playing him).. Maybe their are other alternatives.

Everything is not all right. I'm really ready for positive news, i sure hope it's coming. I just know, no of us have ISU's list of recruits in front of us to know who's tops on the list... Maybe we did wiff, disappointing for sure if so.

I sure hope they have a plan, if not, well --- i'll be really confused.

btw - do we know REALLY about Dendy and Oliver? I've lost track...
 
So basically now the staff is just looking at guys with questionable character, questionable academics and guys leaving other programs? You would think by year 5 of doing this we wouldn't be put in this predicament, but that's what happens when you have our coaching staff, I guess.
