Barnes 6th per rivals!!!!

Have you had any interaction with HB? What is your gut telling you?
I actually haven't talked to HB himself. (He was at the NBA camp during the skills camp.) But our coaching staff seems very confident on Harrison's front, and several people I have talked to said ISU will get a verbal sometime this fall. (Think teammates at AHS, etc.) My gut feeling is that he is definitely leaning ISU, but he wants to be 100% sure before he makes a decision. But I think we are still very much in the lead.

I had a chat with the Ames High strength coach the other day - he said that when Harrison is in town, he is very punctual and committed with his strength workouts, and is all business - no screwing around. Sounds like among all the other things, he has a great blue-collar attitude.
 
From what I hear out of Akron, OH Harrison Barnes is one of the top players there this week. He is the best Guard at the camp to this point. If he wasn't getting recruited by every major program in the country before, he is now.

I also heard that Duke may now be pursuing him.:sad:

Barnes exhibited his versatile offensive tools throughout the games. He has the ability to knock down the one-two dribble mid-range pull-up jumper as well as connect on jump shots from 3-point range if the defense sags off of him. Barnes also can penetrate to the basket using his good first-step and leaping ability to finish at the rim. Though he has the ability to score almost at will Barnes does
