Not to my knowledge, but I have heard that the new director is going to mix up what is being played this year. There will be a couple of pieces out of the typical lineups.

If a Tuba player did that, he'd be chased down, tackled, and have 25 other tuba players in a pile on top of him at the end of practice.
No!!! I worked so hard to get that particular piece of ridiculousness in to the repertoire.
Also, is there any truth to this awful rumor I hear about a "Tribute to Boy Bands" halftime show?
Others would be warned away from such behavior by the legend of the mysterious dent left in the practice field.
So this got me thinking...is this the year the marching band is getting new uniforms?
I remember the athletic department donated money to them from the bowl game but they needed a lot more to get new uniforms.

Pretty sure yes, this was the roll-out year for new unis, but I'm not all that in the loop these days.
I'm excited to have a new director this year. Hopefully we'll get some new songs and looks. I got tired of the "song" they called "the Power Chord," which was basically a basic chord that they resolved in stages.
And I'm a band alum FWIW. Not flaming on the band. Hopefully we'll get some new songs in the repertoire. I'd like the first 2 bars of "Thriller" for 1st downs and big plays.

Yeah. Im also out of the loop, but i saw a view of the (possibly early version) uniform several months ago, so it wouldnt surprise me if they were new this year.
Yea, I was always confused as well how a basic band warm-up ended up becoming a cheer that got used all the time.
I'm a band alum also and just visited Ames this past weekend. The new director is awesome and you're definitely going to get your wish. The new director was on the ISU drumline in college and he's looking to add some more "College-y things" to the repetoire. He's tweaked pregame and added some new commands. Speaking with current band members they really like him and he's pushing them to be much better.
I think fans will appreciate some of the new stuff.
EDIT: The power chord "#7" is reportedly no more.
