Ball Soup Weather Thread

We had 2" of rain late this morning. Actually quite nice in the QCA. Though it was extremely muggy this morning here.

Ended up with just under .8 inches grateful for every drop of it. We were getting dry.

Hotter than a half effed fox on the Fourth of July. And it’s not effed.

We live in a split foyer house, so our basement is only half way below ground. Even so, we've always had a significant difference in temperature between the basement level and the first floor, and I really notice it in extremely hot weather like this.

A while back, I bought one of those larger (more powerful) fans that Menards had on sale and I placed it at the bottom of the basement steps pointing upward toward the front entrance. It's made the upstairs temperature more pleasant and I think my central air unit is not having to run as much.

Only drawback is the powerful fan is kind of loud so I have to turn the living room TV up a little. :)

The Chicks concert last night at the State Fair was just nonstop sweating. Someone passed out in the front during Ben Harper's opening set and it took way too long for medical personnel to get there. Great concert but **** was it uncomfortable.

I was there and can concur. Uncomfortably hot, zero breeze, and a very loud and constantly whistling whooo girl neighbor who was blasting her THC vape pen constantly and never offered to share, just a horrible human.

Great concert though. But I will only remember how hot it was.
