Yup. Late night, rolled into my driveway at 4 AM

I'm sweating profusely just standing around. It's 80, and it is MUCH more uncomfortable than the 93 degrees I was out in in Colorado last week.

Not that it would have mattered. I just got a dumb look on my face, and did the awkward spray thing that was undoubtedly too indirect to be refreshing, and within three seconds I was sitting there wondering what the hell just happened as she ran down the street.

Feel like this was always the weather for baling straw. Ahh, I do not miss those days.

Oat dust on a hot day is the worst, so dang itchy. Never fails that small bailing 2nd or 3rd (depending on year) cutting also happens during the hottest week of the year,

About 15 years ago, I was working in the yard and had a college girl jogging by in this type of heat while I was watering some new grass. She stopped and asked if I would spray her down. I pretty much froze up and kind of half-ass sprayed the water up in the air over her, and she went on her way. My girlfriend was watching out the window and I had some 'splaining to do lol

what a wonderful story and i WILL be using it in my upcoming blog if thats ok

Damn it. I just opened up this thread thinking it was actually about soup. Maybe even a festival or “ball” about soup. I enjoy soup at all times of the year. Anyways, I feel dumb / disappointed now.
