Back on the Busch Light bus

LOL the craft geeks coming out in full force to crap on Busch Light is almost as predictable as Iowa fans commenting on our black uniforms...

I'm not going to get in the middle this one other to ask a question.

Are you suggesting there aren't beers...maybe even numerous amounts... that fill the gap between Busch Light and craft beers? i.e....why would the assumption be that if someone isn't a fan, they must then be a craft beer drinker?

Theres other beers to drink yeah but the main thing about beers like Coors, Miller, Bud, Busch and the like lite/light is the fact they are cheap and easy to drink all day, you can buy an 18 rack for around the cost of a 6-12pack of other beers, If I'm drinking all day give me any of those beers.
Not me. I'll let them out of the penalty box eventually, but not yet. Too soon.
the big issue for me was the fact originally being reported as they were doing the $350k that had been raised and were cutting further ties at that point.. then a day later was the reports of them continuing to match the funds, almost like they caved to the pressure of their PR mistake and were trying to patch the hole.

Not a huge fan of Busch Light, but it is a drinkable beer that is cheap. Not really mad about the fact that they backed away from Carson after the DMR article either. They did come through with their commitment to match up to that point, so that was nice to see. Would like to have a empty of the Carson can even after all this.

Still way more mad about the BS stunt the Register pulled, and then endlessly defended it as important journalism.

hopefully that becomes the final nail in the coffin (I doubt it). that way some one can buy it out and maybe turn it into a respectable newspaper again. RAGBRAI might be the only thing keeping it afloat after this.

hummmm.....newspapers aren't exactly a hot commodity to purchase these days.

Carson King inspires me in many ways. In addition to the whole fundraising for the kids cancer hospital, he has remained so positive regarding Busch Light and its unique relationship with the state of Iowa. The massive good done by the donations from Anheuser-Busch overshadows anything else. Thus, we are "back on the Busch Light bus" and will be proudly serving it at our big tailgate (100+) this weekend.

May the state of Iowa's special affinity with Busch Light continue and rise to even greater levels!
Already bought the beer before all this went down hum? ;-)
