Does anyone know any more info. on this kid, such as how high we are with him or if he was a Mac or Chizik recruit? I really hope this is a Chizik recruit he looks very mobile and looks like he can throw on the run. I found this video of him on youtube.

Wow, even if he doesn't end up playing quarterback at the next level, he could definitely make it at receiver. He put some pretty sick moves on some of those defenders!

That kid threw the ball, on the run across his body 60 yds in the air! Don't let anyone see this video...SHHH!

Too late. According to some free info from the other site, he already has Illinois, Kentucky, Miami, FSU and Florida on his list.:baffled5wh:

looked like Seneca Wallace II to me....have we got a shot against those FLA schools?

If Miami, Florida state and the rest of the boys are in on him then the awnser is NO. We don't have a shot. Unless his grades suck and we can get him in and they can't. Ala Troy Davis.

if Chizik has a great year next year i think we'll have a great chance at gettin this guy... lets not forget Chizik's ties to Florida. i can't wait to see Chiziks recruits for next year...and the season hasn't even started yet!

I don't care if Chizik is his favorite uncle, if the big Florida schools are gunning for him it probably isn't going to happen.

After watching that video, I don't think he would have too much trouble convincing a coach to let him play qb.

At this point in time they are all Chizik recruits!

Why can't we get this guy? He hasn't signed yet...so we can get him if we want him. We can't be afraid to go after talented guys and compete with the "big boys" if we in fact want to be a "big boy"!

Cychotic, that's DM tenure thinking. If things are going to change, we have to believe we can recruit with anyone. Including Florida.

Your that guy who kept trying even when your team was about to get 50 pointed in high school. It's a great attitude you have going on. Just not realistic. The bigger guys like Miami, Florida state, and Florida just have way more than we have to offer. If we are going to get some blue chippers they are probably going to have to come from the north or Midewest.

Is it possible for Michigan to get these blue-chippers? Its cold and miserable there as well....is it a tradition/facilities issue? WV, VT, Louisville, Rutgers etc. have overcome that. What he's saying is the thought process needs to be the first thing to change.

Coaches personalities make a huge difference on landing recruits. Some have IT and others do not.

Rutgers recruits against nobody else from there state.

Michigan is Tradition and the big house.

Louisville is recruiting against a baskeball school.

VT is only the real example.

West Virginia is a beutiful town. Also they have the exact same stadium as we do build at the same time. They have made the upgrades over time and there coaches have build it by evaluating the talent. Then once they got good enough they started getting the blue chippers.

I dont care who our coach is, its basically all aobut geography. They're in FLORIDA!!!. Sunshine and hot chicks. Hes a high-schooler. It'd be an easy decision for every 18-year old.

Actually I'm that guy that was never on a team that got blown out by 50 or had "half a hundred" hung on them!

In any give year, the three schools you mention can only sign roughly 75 players. I live in the south (I actually used to live in Florida and in Texas) and guess what...THERE ARE SIGNIFICANTLY MORE THAN 75 D-I PROSPECTS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA OR IN THE STATE OF TEXAS EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

And another quick revelation for you...not everyone wants to go to these schools...Miami (thug reputation, lame fan support), FSU (only slightly above .500 program the last few years, it's in the panhandle of Florida...not exactly South Beach), and Florida (loaded with talent...tough to get on the field).

You have a very "defeatist" tone in your comments. We are going to get top recruits from the south...mark my words. I hope we also get some from the midwest but face facts...the midwest is less populated than states like Texas and Florida and the HS football is not as competitive as it is in the big southern states.
