Last week my wife (women drivers!!!) side-swiped a construction sign, which dented the passenger door and scraped the paint along the bottom 1/4 of the door and rear panel.

Anyone know of an honest auto body shop in the Des Moines area that does a good job without breaking the bank? Please don't say Maaco. I've tried them twice in my life and that was twice too many.

Thanks.

Smiths in Ankeny, great work, great prices, and they seem pretty honest. MrsBrianHos used to smash into stuff monthly, so we got pretty familiar with them.

Jacobsen Autobody in West Des Moines on Fuller Road. Great work, plus Clark Jacobsen is a cyclone fan...

I have used Dent Eliminators in West Des Moines near Betts Cadilac. Especially on the minor problems they are very competitive in price and I have been very pleased with their work. They do paint matching on site and use a hardener in the paint that after it has set up you can run it through a car wash right after you take it off their lot. Most stuff they can have done in a day or less. They also do all of Holmes Honda minor work. My Ridgeline is going in tomorrow since the wife didn't pull the truck far enough into the garage before putting the garage door down. Ouch

Pleasant Hill Auto is great. The wife hit the side of the garage.
:skeptical:

Very nice, and pleasantly surprised by the bill.
