Atmosphere at JTS

You can't discuss football today. Haha.

I would say Iowa 2007 was pretty cool, haven't been to many games though.

I'm thinking when we had "the run" v. Texas Tech - we were ranked very high and felt like we were on top of the world! Other than if was way to ******* cold that night lol

First half against K-State in '99 was the greatest atmosphere I've seen at JTS. We were still a year away from winning our first bowl game, KSU was in their heyday with Bill Snyder, and we were up by three touchdowns at halftime.

Then KSU scored four unanswered touchdowns to win the game. Talk about deflating.

1976 nebby game and Luther Blue running back a kick off 95 yards for a td!

cold as all get out and the place was sold out and rocking for a mid November game in Ames, IA! Can still see the nebby fans leaving for the exits awfully early in the fourth qt!

I wasn't at the 2002 Nebraska game, but I have recordings of that, the 2005 Iowa game, and the 2005 CU game, and on TV they go in order from loudest to softest

1) Iowa
2) NU
3) CU

But it's pretty god damn close.

23-3. I was a freshman at that time, and I had heard JTS never got too loud. It was loud that day.

I remember being just a young lad for that game... where I sat with my family it was so loud i couldnt hear my dad talking to me right next to me. I have yet to hear JTS get that loud again.... something tells me it might this year:yes::yes::yes:

Colorado tornado game will always be tops for me....last game my late father in law attended with me.

great times.
