So another year, same ol crap!!
1. Two weeks in a row and we can coordinate the fly over with the end of the National Anthem.
2. Nothing against the Bells of Iowa State but that tune brings the crowd down. Need to play that right away and get it out of the way.
3. Need to find new music to get fans in the stand off their butts! Yesterday was far from electric! When the crowd needed to get into it we wouldn’t.
4. Our big go to is the headset cam and the Buff City flex for the camera… Really! Half the people didn’t even realize they were on camera!
5. And finally, the one song that gets people up and into the game, Juicy Wiggle, and they play it with 2 minutes left in the game. The person in charge doesn’t know anything about creating an electric atmosphere.

I understand bills need to be paid but let’s get some energy in our crowd. And it starts with the person in charge of selecting the audio. I watched several games last night and you could hear the crowd getting into the game. If you think our stadium is electric, go to Virgian Tech, Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Penn St. even K-State! You will see a vast difference. We need to rethink our current practice and get some energy at Jack Trice Stadium !!!

I think you make good points.

For a few years now, Juicy Wiggle has been played after the first TD of the second half. We just need a better offense ;)

Juicy wiggle is played after the first td 2nd half. We didn't score that until 2 mins left.

1. That isn't on ISU. Not sure why they were early yesterday but they had a spotter there that would have been giving them time on target updates.
5. It has traditionally been saved until ISU did something well which unfortunately took a long time yesterday.

Not sure what is going on with the flyovers, it was bad last week, but yesterday the jets came over in the middle of the anthem. Just overall poor planning and getting everything to work our right.

The crowd can’t get involved when the product on the field is god awful. It was bumping after the TD but it’s not on the fans when literally nothing happened almost the entire game.

They did absolutely botch the entrance again yesterday which was super disappointing. I’m firmly on the bring back power/stone cold train

All valid points, but other things that killed the energy included:

Blocked fg on the first drive
Media timeout, kickoff, media timeout. Less game and more commercials should speak for itself as bad for football.
Our O/Iowa's D keeping us from having any consistent momentum.
Losing to Iowa, again.

The TV guys seemed pretty impressed with the atmosphere.

I had to cut the game off before the bed shitting, but it sounds like a good start?

Lol. Not sure if this is a serious post.

Iowa State can't control the airtime for military equipment.

Iowa State stunk and it was a boring game. Hard to pump up the crowd with the play on the field.

Juicy Wiggle only plays after the first TD of the 2nd half. Score with two minutes left? That's when it happens, no exceptions.

It is so much quieter with the student section tucked in the corner. Student section not only was louder but the whole place kinda fed off the energy that the student section used to bring. JTS used to be pretty loud on third downs when the defense was on the field now it's just ok. For sure it doesn't help that the team isn't very good again but that only a part of it imo.

Hate to break it to you but it was probably canned crowd noise you were listening to on TV

Another Cyclone FIRST DOWN!.........

If the marketing folks can't figure out how toxic that is since 1896 or whatever, there is no hope.

The flyover was just late for the Bears game too.

I'm going to email JP

Even worse was I the second half; Iowa time out(Media time out) Iowa score (Media time out) kickoff (media time out). Couldn't have been more then 30 seconds of game time off the clock
