athlon ranks 'em all ...

Well, technically we are returning 3 linemen with starting experience which I believe is really being overlooked. Imagine if Robert Hudson can actually move some people @ 360 lbs.

Does Hudson project as a guard?

Left tackle will be key. Joey Ramos is the heir apparent there, correct?

The O-line is our biggest issue, if we have even a halfway decent one this year should be fun at the least..

I hate a lot of second-guessing in the red zone. Don't overthink it. Keep the pedal to the medal and shove it down their throat. Keep them on their heels. Run or play action to the TE.
Oh I agree. I was a C my senior year and if it got crazy or things were hard to communicate I would just call a straight block and make it about everyone strapping it up against their gap responsibility. We had a great oline coach, we were a well oiled machine.

IMO ISU's OL was decent (not great) against the pass but did poorly against blitzes.

Just seemed like the overall unit didn't have a great FB IQ. They were confused by stunts and blitzes. And they had dumb penalties at the most inopportune times. This year's OL is all Campbell guys. I hope that they are able to make the necessary improvements. Sure would have been nice to get spring practice in to allow them to play together some.

We really struggled last year moving the ball on the ground until Hall took hold of the RB position. Lang and Nwangwu are decent backs, but Hall is a future NFL player and that makes a huge difference.

Kene imo is really good but man if he could just stay healthy.

74. Arkansas
New coach Sam Pittman inherits a program that hasn't won an SEC game since 2017 and faces a brutal schedule in '20.

I knew Arkansas had fallen, but I didn't realize they hadn't won a conference game the past two years.
74th seems rather generous for a team that has won four games the last two years and lost to San Jose State and Western Kentucky last year. It's not all the SEC slate...

i cant recall t

i can't recall the year but i feel like this statement could have applied in 2013? 2015? the year with knott.
2013 and 2015 were teams that had holes everywhere. Those teams were so far away. The 12 season with Knott and Klein still had a really crappy play in the trenches and no good qbs.

Cats come calling this fall. I'll be here to read the postgame rationalizations. Talk is cheap today. Always is before the fact. Just like last year. Just like 10 of the last 11 preseasons. Just like 25 or the last 30 years. Carry on, boys.
