I will be surprised if we don't win this game by close to 3 scores. I didn't feel that way two weeks ago but the more I look at it the better I feel.
First off, their Kent St! Sure a good Kent St team, but still. I don't care if they are supposed to win the MAC East either. Take a look at that conference. They play against the likes of Buffalo, Temple, Ohio, Akron. This is not me taking a stab at Kent St, it is just me stating the obvious. It is one thing to beat those teams and it is another to beat a Big 12 team.
Second. Don't use the last couple years games as an indicator of how this game is going to be. That is the biggest thing I don't get about us fans. We use a reason to be concerned based on a previous coaching staffs success in games such as this. Chizik is Mac. ***'t coaches are different. I just think we will be that much better coached, that much less predictable, and that much better come the 4th quarter.
Third. If we struggle in this game we may not win more than 2 games all year!! I think UNI is better than Kent St. Take a look at their roster. They have a very very good chance of winning it all. If somebody thinks we are going to struggle in this game, then the season looks more than rough.
And last!! Players, coaches, and fans are going to be jacked up. This is a new regime. We are going to hit them in the mouth right out of the game and keep hitting them in the mouth. When we get up by 2 scores we are not going to pound it out with Jason Scales and just try to run out some time. We will step on the throat of an inferior opponent like we should!!
