Can you look this up somewhere? If you just look at graduates and giving to the NCC, our numbers (number of givers) we are the worst in the big 12. Total dollars......I think bottom third.

Its more likely based on mileage, not yearsDo u really believe they signed an 7 -8 year lease? Maybe that's the value of the trucks, but if the approximate $700/mo. lease is accurate, it is not a $6 million deal. You turn the trucks in at the end of the lease.
The information I had is at least two years old. Maybe someone on here has more/better access. Jamie produced these numbers for all of the big 12 thru various like kind comparisons. Can you look this up somewhere?
Leases always have a beginning date, ending date and maximum annual mileage without additional monies owed on a per mile basisIts more likely based on mileage, not years
If only Benson Motors was still around. I was with the man for his 80th birthday Sunday. He would've taken care of these boys. And lets be honest, dealers finding vehicles for players isn't exactly a new thing, even pre-NIL being legal.
Correct, but in this case, I am willing to guess the dealer that supplied the trucks has the first rights to buy them back as used vehicles, and more than likely is when the trucks have 6k-10k miles on them. The beginning and end date do not matter whatsoever. No dealer is going to supply trucks without some incentive from a business standpoint. They are all one year leases, and if a player stays, they get a completely different truckLeases always have a beginning date, ending date and maximum annual mileage without additional monies owed on a per mile basis

Very well could be one-year leases. Then it is a firm commitment of around $700,000. The article said $6 million commitment. You mean journalists don't under leases? What is hilarious to me is all these trucks had an average MSPR of $43,970? i believe, meaning someone donated 3.7 million worth of trucks. WTF does the 6 mil figure come from? lolVery well could be one-year leases. Then it is a firm commitment of around $700,000. The article said $6 million commitment. Gotta scroll a bit
really sad numbers here, especially when you compare to the living alumni column.
I’m plenty happy. Proud of this staff and team. I’m not part of the group that quit on them a month ago.You are never happy. Did you complain that your cereal was wet this morning?
Not only buy them back, but then turn around and recoup some of the money if say someone like a Brock Purdy or Breece Hall from Utah was the one that drove the truck for a year or two. I would think there would be a market out there for a big Utah fan that would love to drive the vehicle from one of their star players and would be willing to pay more to do so.Correct, but in this case, I am willing to guess the dealer that supplied the trucks has the first rights to buy them back as used vehicles, and more than likely is when the trucks have 6k-10k miles on them. Unfortunately for you, there is no award that comes with that.I’m plenty happy. Proud of this staff and team. I’m not part of the group that quit on them a month ago.
I wonder how much of the discrepancy between us and our peer schools is the average fan being cheap vs the lack of big money donors. I'm sure we fall short in both areas, but I'm guessing it's the latter where we really come up short.
