Ash Tree Advice

Anybody know why they only cut down a few trees near Hilton? They cut down the ones on the road between Lots B-2 and C-2. However, they left the ones closer to the west entrance of Hilton. Seemed strange.

Will take a photo next time I am there, but Fareway in Waterloo has about 20 small Ash trees that are in various stages of dying. It almost looks like fall with half the leaves dropped. Classic Borer symptoms with the trees trying to grow shoots at the base of the tree. Sad thing to see.

Thread resurrection. Anyone familiar with the cost of tree trimming? I have received two quotes with significant variation, just wondering what other people out there see. I've got one tree that needs significant trimming, off the top of house and off the street over hang plus all the clean up that goes with it.

It various so much depending on size of tree, difficulty to access, etc it really makes it hard to provide anything helpful based on info provided. If it was me, I'd go with the cheaper quote but would be sure it includes everything you expect to be done. If you are more comfortable with the firm that provided the higher bid, contact them and tell them the bid the competitor provided and see if they'll match (or can explain why they are so much higher).

In addition, make sure who ever you go with is insured.
