I found this article written by Clinton Mann on the Hy-Vee Shootout. I thought it was well written and shows that we are bringing in someone with a lot of character who loves the game.

Good use of vocabulary (sp?) and understands that practice is important - especially early in the season. Also understands hustle and how that works to get his own game going. Sounds like a smart kid, hope his game is just as good. :wink:

Somebody used a thesaurus when writing that. And ianoconnor is right, the way it is structured is odd. However, it's not an indictment on the kid at all. He's obviously got a head on his shoulders, which seemed to lacking from a PG who left the team this year.
