Again you caught up in antiquated process that is no longer used. The problem with your rationale is the committee doesn't have much experience dealing with this kind of situation because most tournament teams don't lose 10 out of 13 to close the year.
The only thing remotely comparable is Iowa in 2014, they were showing up as a 3 in mid February then lost 6 out of 7 to close the year and ended up in Dayton.
I think this team will go on losing 8 of 10. That's a huge outlier so you don't have anymore evidence of them getting a 6 or 7 than us who think we are more like a 10 or 11.
As I explained to you they don't look at dates of wins and losses. It's simply here is who you beat and here is who beat you. They look for things like quad 1 wins and quad 3 for 4 losses. Dates do not matter.
Not my criteria, the committee's.
Bracket matrix said composite as of today says ISU is highest 5.
Last year it had ISU after Big 12 blowout loss to Tech had ISU as a 10, I believe the lowest 10.
ISU ended up an 11
Given these facts why do you think they will deviate from the process? Again knowing no dates of wins and losses are applied to criteria.
Dealing in those facts give me up to date reasons why they are a 10 or 11
It's going to be at worst a 7, probably a 6
