Not the way we are currently playing.

I swear some of you just started following this sport last week. Your entire body of work matters.

When North Carolina, Wisconsin and USC are being debated as 10-11 seeds then Iowa State's resume will carry them.

Iowa State is a lock. The 20 wins stuff is irrelevant. We would be a 7 seed but we would be in even with 17* wins.

If we lose out I don't know if we are a lock. I didn't think that was possible until today, but TJ looks completely incapable of making meaningful adjustments and doing simple things to help get this team back on track.

On one hand we've had 2ne half leads in all of our losses outside of Mizzou and Texas. On the other we are one of the worst 2nd half teams in the country and look completely lost as a team. TJs inability to implement adjustments wouldnt appeal to me if I'm on the selection committee.

Normally I'd say there was no way we could possibly be sitting at home but I also didn't think we'd lose.at home to OU and face the real possibility of losing out. At that point I think our recent futility should play more of a factor then our earlier wins.

This team isn't what it was a month ago. We are a bad basketball team right now, something I wouldn't thought I'd say a month ago.

Listen... we flat out SUCK right now... Unwatchable, atrocious... whatever description you want for the product being put out on the court its 100% correct.

At the same time it does not matter. Look at the bubble... Iowa State is in. Not the seed we all hoped we were going to get a couple weeks ago but 8-10 in this conference with the wins Iowa State has will be enough to get them solidly in. A cancelled game against Omaha isn't going to suddenly matter. I said a 7 seed and I will stay with 7 because the metrics are still strong.

we are looking at a 17-14 record and best case scenario going to dayton for the play in game. teams have figured us out and there has been no adjustments

So you think if we lose out, which I expect. Hell, they might be all by double digits. We would finish 17-14 and have lost 8 out of 9 games. You think we will be a 7 seed? We are looking at a 10 to 12 seed at best.

You don't think they would fall to 13 or 14?

We have the resume to be in no matter our finish. But we are not playing tourney level ball now and haven't been for a while. I expect 1 and done in KC and one and done in the NCAA. I think WVU at home is the last win of the year, and I'm not overly confident on that one.

We will make the tournament by what we’ve already accomplished. We have or at least had the most quad 1 victories. Right now however we aren’t playing even close to a tournament team and it’s VERY frustrating

We need to forfeit the rest of the season and get ready to play the Big12 tournament as a warm up to NCAA. we look tired and unmotivated. It doesn't help our offense is offensive

No ****? I forgot everything on the internet is 100% serious...

But your comment is factually untrue.
Sorry, I have a hard time detecting sarcasm from a keyboard.

BTW - When was the last time a non-AQ was a 13 or 14 seed? Maybe there has been one, I just don’t recall.

Please, I beg of you. Do actual research looking at all the teams being bandied about for seeds 7-12 and compare their resumes against ours even if we lose out.
