April Fools Day - Love/Hate

Looks like Google is on the "hate" side this year. Basically Google added a send button that attaches a minion gif to the email you send. Lots of people doing it inadvertently at work.

I saw the "Send and Mic Drop" thing last night when I was sending a clients tax returns to his banker. I wasn't dumb enough to press it and I just hit regular send.

If you were stupid enough to press it when sending a important email then you deserve whatever ramifications you get.

And I thought the Mic Drop thing was hilarious.

I always find it really funny when companies put big money into it, good marketing.

One of the few things I have no strong feelings about. If some enjoy it in a nonharmful way, fine.

Expecting a little bit of snow for earlier this morning, I decided to pull this gem on social media last night.

Worked out well. Think I fooled quite a few people by looking at some of the shares and comments.

I think April Fool's has a place. But it has to be good. No lame duck or cliche attempts.

Not a fan. Why save up all that shenanigans for one single day when it can be spread over the entire year when people aren't necessarily expecting it?

Problem is a lot of the time the April Fools trailers are better than the real ones.
