Anthony Johnson to the Packers

They have flipped their style the last two years. Have focused on Defense. Guessing the running game and seam routes with play action will be used a lot more now.
They seem to be turning focus to be a dominant defense and ball control offense like the 49ers or Ravens. Probably not a bad idea for a team playing in the NFC north.

If they find their next Farve/Rodgers then awesome, but why put all your eggs in having a HOF QB?

Please. AR is the only thing that has been keeping that garbage roster afloat. Packer fans are in for a rude awakening and I am here for it.
Well a lot of wins the past year or more have been pulled out by the defense tbh. I will agree though their qb situation is really bad. Probably a 6 win ceiling with that. Bears will still finish last as their qb situation is just as bad and they have a worse roster overall

If they have a strong defense, their QB2 (his name is slipping my memory) Love? ... Any rate he's a big guy and if they can play ball control as someone said above they could be tough. Think Rothlessberg era with the Steelers, but probably not Super Bowl good.

No idea but I don't see them doing anything to rely on unless AR was holding it all back.
Rodgers was not his self last year. He had wide receiver drops but he was about half as sharp as he has been in his career.

I really can't name one real impact type player.
Aaron Jones, Jaire Alexander, Kenny Clark. Rashon Gary is coming on strong.

People seem to think they'll fall hard. Rodgers stats weren't that impressive last year. If Love has basic stats and they run more, they can still compete in that crappy ass division. Although, the Lions are showing improvements.

I also was more excited and celebrated harder for the Jets pick over the packers 1st round pick Thursday evening. Jets might be my AFC team now lol.

26 TDS, 12 INTs, 3,695 yards. That was his stat line last year. Not the most impressive of years and they were 8-9 with a worse performing defense than the prior year. If Barry doesn't improve, he's out.

The WRs are going to take a little more time to develop since now they're all young. I see them trying to be run heavy this upcoming year.

I think people who don't watch the Packers don't realize he was both the best and worst thing about them. He clearly had no interest in running LaFleur's offensive scheme and would routinely try to play hero ball (the last plays of the last two seasons are clear evidence of that). As good as he is, his time had run its course and a QB who plays within the system can be just as successful as Rodgers was. Also the Jets clearly have more of an offensive suited to he wants to do so he'll probably have a "resurgence" this year.

I think Love has shown he can make the throws but he needs to improve on presnap reads and adjustments, which you need reps to do. They'll probably be down this year (or maybe not? The NFC North isn't that tough this year in my opinion).

All that's to say, I don't think GB's offense will be vastly more/less successful without Rodgers, but their defense will be what wins/loses them games.

Rodgers didn't throw for over 300 yards in a single game last year, not once. He looked like he was mailing it in and his recent playoff performances were crap to put it lightly. He wasn't carrying anything last year. The Packers offense is going to look a lot like the 49ers (LaFleur is from the Shanahan tree) and Love will be more than capable of paying at least as well as Rodgers last year and will actually run the offense as intended opposed to Rodgers basically changing and calling his own plays. They'll have a better record than last year, book it. And the Bears will still suck.
