Anyone know if Ames Lager is on tap anywhere in Des Moines? El Bait Shop? Wasn't an option at Iowa Tap Room as of last weekend.

Well still haven't found it on tap, but at least Brick City in Ames keeps it in cans so you can order it with your meal. It's been there the last 2 Sundays. $5/can not sure if that's a good deal or not but I order it anyway.

Went to a We Will fundraiser last night in Omaha and spoke with a representative from the West O brewery company. He said that Omaha HyVees just started carrying Ames Lager last week. Also, Blum told me that the West O brewing company recently wrote the collective a $50K check based on the sales thus far. Hence, drinking Ames Lager makes a HUGE impact.

ISU may not have a lot of mega doners, but we have a lot of beer drinkers. I will do my best to consume my fair share to support the We Will collective.

For starters, Iowa Tap Room & El Bait Shop should be carrying it if they pride themselves on variety. Last I checked Tap Room doesn't have it, but of course they have that Swarm crap. No idea on El Bait Shop.

From the untapped review it at least looks like someone has reviewed Ames Lager and checked in that they got it at Iowa Taproom.

I'm with you that any downtown/court ave DSM business with large amount of alcohol sales would really be missing out by now carrying it if possible.
