Ames Lager Update

After a few months of checking I was finally able to grab a six pack. East Ames Hy-Vee only had 2 left. Still searching for the Jack trice beer
I'll be back in Iowa in 2 weeks for the Texas game and Grambling State. I need some sort of beer-finder app so that I can stock up while I can.
May I recommend stopping at the We Will Collective tailgate in row 700 of the RV Village or at the West-O tailgate bus in the Haunted Forest before the Texas game.
Found it in the wild for the first time in a smaller community in central/northern Iowa. Was pumped that this hyvee has it so I will definitely check there again.
Do you ever go to a craft brewery? $6 for a pint is the going price, so $2/ can is very reasonable, even more so when you consider it also supports We Will and hence our Cyclones!
Hy-Vee in Indianola finally has it. Was able to try it for the first time the weekend of the Baylor game. Bought another sixer yesterday afternoon, and also convinced the guy next to me to buy one as well (literally put it in his cart while he still want sure).
Agreed. Stopped by the We Will tailgate in the RV Village, made a donation to Blum and purchased some merch from Joe of West O. Then took my Ames Lager that I got for my donation over to my buddies RV spot and shared it. He had not had it yet and has been stocking CloneFest in his tailgate cooler. He loved it and said he will try and stock the cooler with Ames Lager at the next one!
Johnston Fareway hat roughly 150 sixers of it. May be off on the count but they had a lot, right when you walk in.
I looked this morning while picking up a keg of beer at South Hy Vee in Ottumwa, they had none. I didn't ask if they were getting some in the future or not. Hopefully it gets down here in the next month or so.

I can tell you Burlington and Fort Madison HyVee's do not sell it. Its been hard for me to find. Only in DSM can I get it. Not sure why West O can't get it in all HyVee's and Fareway's.
I’ve seen it in the Davenport area but haven’t traveled to any southern river cities lately. It might be just a matter of enough people requesting it.
Johnny’s ran out of Ames lager well before tipoff for the first bball game and was not in stock for the second game. Get Johnny’s stocked!!

I haven't found it at the Mills Civic Hyvee. They have a ton of the Hazy but no Ames Lager. Next grocery trip will be to the Jordan Creek location.
Not to beat a dead horse, but have you asked them to stock it? I know it was a supply/demand problem initially, but every time I’ve asked a Hy-Vee (or Fareway) to get something, even if it’s a special order for me, they make it happen.
