We need another place in Ames that has fuel at the same price as Sam's Club. Their pumps break all the time. Right now half of them are not working. Looks like they are frozen up at remove your card screen.

Sams club is it, unless you go to Ankeny and then it doesnt make sense anyway.

Why would any place do that when they know people have to buy gas at the price the gas stations choose? It sucks but it is what it is.

All pumps at Sams's were working when I filled up this morning. It's strange that they are having issues since all the pumps were replaced this past summer.

KwikStar and Kum & Go have had quite the price battle for E-15 over the past few months. It’s about as cheap of fuel as you can find in the area.

Fleet Farm will match Sam's Club prices when they build. At least, they do in Ankeny.

I noticed this too. Both my vehicles take E85 as well. For awhile HyVee Gas had it but the price didn't add up to using it. Then a couple weeks ago it was down to 2.09 when their cheapest 10% was 3.29. I go with E85 if it is 25% less, and obviously that was.

There was awhile when E85 was 1.52 at a few places, about half of E10.
