Always thought Rohach was the guy for 2013

Richardson confirmed it today. I will go on record right now and say Rohach takes the job in the spring and doesn't look back.

Notice that all 3 QB's that played the last two years look like crap. Why is that? Are all 3 of them really that bad? All 3 of them show flashes of brilliance, yet for some reason they keep getting pulled into the gutter. Why is that?

BroncoCY : I don't know about the 2nd quarter exactly, but after that shot early in the third quarter he was different. He struggled thru the 2nd qtr to that point and then completely fell off the map early in the 3rd

Sam didn't solidify his hold on the position for next year, that's for sure. Open competition in the spring will be a good thing for everyone.

After watching ISU down the stretch I'm more concerned about what they have to run, than who is behind center running it.

I guess, I wish we didn't need to have an open competition. Hasn't exactly panned out recently.

Pick the guy nobody's seen, if he has a good game bump thread and bask in glory.

I have seen his tape and tape from the elite 11 competition and heard Dilfer's statements about him. Pair that with Rhoads own words on his coaches show earlier this year (when I asked a question about Rohach) that Grant is a film junkie and I had a feeling. Then I saw the throws he made in practice and it began to become pretty apparent.

I have heard hes the best QB in practice and think the reason it took so long to see SR was because Rohach was lighting it up and had a superior arm + intangibles.

Richardson fell apart today Tulsa's D wasn't that good and the wideouts were open but he never saw them and looked to run on a bunch of plays for no reason. Very dissapointing since he had shown promise.

The competition will be for who is #2. After todays game there is no way I move Lanning or Hodge from QB either unless they look terrible.

Also who is the guy that has been throwing to PJ Harris and Dondre Daley on the scout team this year? Those guys are gonna be 2 guys we count on a lot next year and Grant has developed a chemistry with them
