The last three years they had a losing record they averaged 54,000 fans. They have NEVER sold out 3 conservative games. Is that good? Is it “unreal”?
Some do some don’t. Hawkeye and Cyclone fans are exceptional. It’s because our state doesn’t have any professional teams. Pretty simple actually.
Truth. If the TV interest between schools is a push than our fan travel has tipped the scales for us.
I'm not sure which of Texas's numerous problems you're referring to specifically but despite USC's historical standing and (very high) ceiling as a program, no school is such a juggernaut as to be immune to athletic department dysfunction or bad coaching hires. It can happen to any program.

I’m just trying to understand why every ISU fan thinks their fanbase is somehow special. You have decent support for being the 2nd choice in a small state. But I don’t really see anything special or “unreal” about it.
Very good point. Maybe that's the challenge for CMC is to be the exception to that trend...and of course all those that fail do so with LOTS of money...but doesn't seem like what CMC would want to do.
