I agree that Morris and Taylor should have been swapped. Not sure what the big love affair is with Taylor. He is really fast and has some nice floaters but he isn't better at Morris at much of anything.

Congrats to everyone! I wouldn't trade Monte for anyone, but whatever.

Great to see Abdel, Deonte, and Matt honored. And nice for McKay to get honorable mention too.

I haven't watched Taylor enough on defense to know for sure, but I'm guessing he's better at that side of the ball. The counts for something.

At the end of the day, I think it's hard to give a 10-8 team 2 first teamers. Morris was deserving but it's not a crime he didn't win it.

Not if you watch the games, understand how tough our schedule was and realize how many close losses there were.

I see your point but every team in the Big 12 plays the same schedule. This team is not the 6th-most talented team in the conference, they are better.

Offensively, they're the most talented, defense and depth, probably 8 or 9. Throw in a few close games that they were on the wrong end of, you get a tie for 5th.

It's a very talented but flawed team. Too many guys that are very talented offensively, but not real great at much else. Add in the Jameel drama and it's not that hard to figure out.

Yup plus with injuries and a little McKay drama this team just didn't have the depth to be able to compete through the grind of conference season

That and the fact that Prohm didn't insert his coaching philosophy till the last half of the season...hard to be consistent when adapting to STEPDAD's new strict rules. In the end I guess we did fine and Prohm is fine I just started to expect more and was used to Fred's end of game, inbounds strategy, timeout usage and stoic confidence on the sideline...was never going to like Prohm but the players deserve the accolades while trying to jump thru their new stepdad's mid season rule change.

You don't handle change well, do you?
