Alabama?LSU Round II

How can this game be considered boring? Please. If you watch/enjoy the NFL, this is barely a step down from that. And honestly that Baylor-Washington game was ridiculous. I like to see some defense.

AGREED! People who say they don't want to watch this game because it was boring have got to be kidding me!! If you want to see the closest thing to Monday Night Football it is tonight. When its all said and done, this game will probably have north of 20 players who will play on Sundays.

I will watch regardless of last time and it being a rematch. Would have loved to see Okie St. but tonight should be a good game. Sad to think college football is done after tonight.... :(

I don't believe anyone that says they aren't watching.

Some people don't enjoy NFL ball either. Same with NBA, MLB, etc.

It's going to be like an NFL game? Ok, you made up my mind, I'm out. Watching two teams hand the ball off because neither one have a capable QB does not interest me. I still find it odd that we consider the most important position in football to be the QB, however our national champion will have mediocre play from there.

I wish I could say Oklahoma State, but I got Alabama in an extremely low scoring game. I'm thinking 16-7.

I'm choosing Alabama because they should've won the first matchup and are now out for revenge.

Alabama was the better team in just about every way aside from field goal kicking in the last game, so I say they win somewhat easily.

Did either of you watch the first game? How the heck can you say 'bama should've won the first game?

How does a team win a game and not get inside their opponents 20 but once and "win the game"? They got to the LSU 14 one time and that was their deepest penetration. Their penetrations was:

LSU 24 Q1
LSU 31 Q1
LSU 30 Q2
LSU 14 Q2
Bama 42 Q3
LSU 26 Q4
bama 50 Q4
Bama 26 Q4

Then in overtime with the game on the line they start at the LSU 25 and promptly go BACKWARDS 10 yards.

Which freaking way were the gumps better? Because they moved the ball until they got to about the LSU 30 and then the LSU defense shut the down? That is no feat, most teams move the ball between the 30s on LSU that is how their defense works. What matters is what happens after the 30.

Look at LSU's drives:

Bama 6 Q1
LSU 38 Q1
Bama 9 Q2
LSU 32 Q2 (EOH)
LSU 34 Q3
Bama 10 Q3
LSU 12
LSU 48

So LSU was inside the bama redzone 3 times versus Bama once and yet Bama is the team leaving points on the field?

Why? Because their coach made ****** decisions to attempt a FG that was too long. If Mile put Alleman out there for FGs that were out of his range he would be skewered for bad coaching decisions. Saban does so and they leave points on the field.

Crappy coaching decisions do not equal points left behind.

God I can't wait for this game. The tigers will leave no doubt after tonight.

Not gonna lie, after watching them play Stanford, and watching Weeden throw under pressure in general, I don't think Okie State would stay within 2 TDs of LSU. I think LSU-Alabama will be a better game than Okie State-LSU would have been.

That being said, I'd rather it be Okie State and LSU just for curiosities sake.

Darren Thomas disagrees.

I'm calling B.S. on any college football fan who says he isn't watching the game tonight. Yea, we all have issues. Mine is getting ticked at how many times we get back-handed comments about Oklahoma State losing to "a team like Iowa State." Maybe they won't even mention it in an attempt to justify this as a true national championship game.

Bottom line, if you watched any of the Northern Illinois/Arkansas State game last night, you have to admit that you will be watching some of LSU/Alabama tonight. To do otherwise is to engage in a boycott much more stupid than the Buffalo Wild Wings one!

Anybody who hated the fact that we would be getting an all-SEC NC game will watch anyway. It's the last CFB game of the season, why miss it?

Geaux Tigers!
