Adventureland

Even though it is pretty lame, the concept of the underground was cool. If everything worked and it was a little more intense it would rock

The underground sucks. What is that liquid they spray on you in the beginning? I dunno. The best thing about that ride is the fact some guy jumped off, put sunglasses on the skeleton, and caught back up to the ride and got in. The sunglasses are still there.

Adventureland is one of the things my family will miss most about moving away from the DSM area. It is isn't the greatest place in the world but it has to be one of the best values. We had season passes and probably went at least 30 times a year. The best part about the season passes is that if it is busy, you can just leave and not feel like you wasted money.

I loved the galleon and falling star as did my 5 year old. We enjoyed the Outlaw, Tornado and Dragon quite a bit as well. The Sidewinder was great the first couple times but then it started to make me kind of sick. The Space Shot is pretty fun as well.

After I went to Cedar Point....every other amusement park pales in comparison....Also ValleyFair >>>>>>>Adventureland

I remember riding the Underground right around when it first opened. I waited in line for at least an hour and was so ****** when it sucked.

You know you are a redneck if.......

....you had season passes to adventureland.

....it's what you remember about Des Moines.

This. Heading out to Cedar Point on Wednesday.

For rides at Adventureland, all their coasters suck but I would say that the Space Shot is a favorite for me.

Can't wait to get on Maverick and Millenium Force in a few days......if you're a fan of roller coasters and you don't visit Cedar Point at least once, you're doing yourself a huge disservice.

This. My 4 year old son and I went so many times last year I lost track. So far we have gone twice, and it isn't even open during the week yet. It isn't a perfect park, but it is still fun. The outlaw is one of my favorites. And the water park is pretty darn good.

This. Cedar Point is unreal.

BTW the Der Flinger is the sketchest ride in the park. Won't ever go on it because the damn thing feels like it's about to fall apart. The top of the things need oiled.

They still have the super screamer? it was that little 3 car roller coaster over by the gallion.
